History
In 1934, Anthony William DeFilippo opened a law firm and was quickly joined by his brother Ranieri. Both were Italian immigrants who quickly settled into the Elmira area and began building what would become a family legacy through their law firm.
Tony's son, Gerald, continued in the family tradition and was admitted to the bar in 1969. He successfully ran the firm throughout the latter part of the last century. Today, his son James E. DeFilippo continues the tradition.
